The time when he DID talk, was because his “soul” was in another person and THAT body spoke, but when his soul was in his own body, HIS body is INCAPABLE of talking. Mostly because of brain damage, because of drowning. In the game, Jason’s damaged eye is back on the left. In this movie, Jason’s damaged eye was placed on the right side rather than the left. However, the directors of Jason Goes to Hell made a mistake.

What is under Jason’s mask? Does Jason only have one eye?Įven though Jason’s appearance may change slightly from movie to movie, his damaged eye always stayed the same. However, there is one time in the franchise where the adult Jason can be seen speaking onscreen. Like Halloween’s Michael Myers, Jason seldom speaks onscreen and his wordless status compliments his hulking physique to make the implacable killer an imposing screen presence. Plus, it is implied that he can teleport in the movies, whereas Michael usually just goes around places. He may still have that curiosity, but Jason has shown that he’s smart enough to cover his camp in traps and go around. This look includes a hatchet and machete wound from previous instalments, and aptly represents the change in persona for Jason, breaking away from previous personalities. This was the death of the original mask, but underneath it revealed a brilliant version of the killer, worthy of the dramatic reveal.
